The young people, the backbone of any nation or community, are also the first to bear the brunt of globalisation, economic recession, political instability, social turmoil and such other socio-economic disturbances.  The result is usually a sudden increase in the unemployment and underemployment rates.  The unemployed and underemployed youth are easy preys to the vigilant recruiting agents of communalist and terrorist outfits. The Foundation gives, and encourages other agencies to give, training to youth for gainful engagement by way of self-employment or by way of placements with assured decent remuneration.
